Silke's writings, publications, exhibitions and main interests of research are basically focussing on contemporary art concentrating thematically on Identity and History as items and terms of construction and

Social Cultural Phenomena caused by the so-called transformation process in the east European countries. Concerning genre, form and/or artistic strategies Silke is interested in the History of (extended) Sculpture in relation to traditional theories and positions, "Cross Over" in terms of "High" and "Low" as Visual Arts/ Design-Art. Within some of her recent exhibitions she is also focussing on contemporary positions reflecting and referring to Land, Conceptual and Performing Art of the 60's/70's.

Unique locations outside the (museums') artworld are always very welcome to conceive site specific exhibitions and fringe programs.
